Experienced Rider's Course (ERC)
I will be conducting two ERC's in July. They will
take place on the 26th, 2008 @ the Camp Pendleton Motorcycle Safety Range. The classes will be at 7 am and
1 pm.
We will meet at the Carrow's Restaurant @ 936 North Coast Highway, Oceanside,
CA 92054, 6:30 am for the morning course and at 12:30 for afternoon course.
To
secure a place for your self in one of these classes you must send me a check in the amount of $35 made out to "CA1N"
and indicate which class you prefer, morning or afternoon. There is no charge for these classes so when you show up for the
course you will have two options: 1. you can have your check returned to you or, 2. you can donate it to the Ride for Kids
charity.
These classes are on a first come first serve basis, so get your check to
me as soon as possible. If there is not an opening in the class you desire I will notify you and you will have the option
to be placed in the other class. If you do not desire the other class then your check will be returned to you.
So be sure and include your phone number, email and return address.
To get on base
you must have in your possession:
- A valid Drivers license with an "M" endorsement.
- Valid insurance card for the bike you are riding.
- Valid motorcycle registration for
the bike you are riding.
Additionally, the base requires that you wear the following
Personal Protective Equipment:
- An Approved helmet.
- Long
sleeve shirt or jacket.
- Full finger gloves.
- Long pants
- Shoes or boots that cover the ankle.
- A reflective vest.**

**If you have more than one reflective vest, please bring it for those that may not have
one. It is highly recommended that if you do not have a reflective vest that you purchase one just in case there are
not extras available. You can get an inexpensive reflective vest for around $20.00 or less.
